Multi-Program Partnership with MCWD

After a successful run of the Assertiveness Training for MCWD employees last month, MCWD decides to continue the partnership with three more programs: Conflict Management Seminar, Effective Technical Writing, and a Teambuilding.

Twenty-two organizational leaders from the different departments of MCWD convened in their spacious training room last August 12, 2011 to attend the Conflict Management Seminar. Participants were introduced to the nature of conflict, conflict management styles, negotiation, and third-party conflict resolution. This session was replete with exercises, case studies, and skill-building.

On the other hand, the Effective Technical Writing Workshop was conducted last August 16. This was well-attended by 25 employees mostly from their Engineering department. Grammar review and effective writing techniques were the integral focus of this seminar. Several application sessions were incorporated to ensure the lessons were understood and properly applied.

A Teambuilding for their Engineering team was held last August 20, 2011 at the Family Park. The all-male group composed of participants from a wide age range proved that age really does not matter when it comes to teamwork. A very heavy downpour of rain in the afternoon did not even douse their eagerness to participate in the structured learning activities.
