About Us

Gear Up is a registered training group that specializes on team programs. We offer training programs, seminars, leadership camp and workshops which comes with learning needs analysis and post program evaluation. We also customize programs that rightly fit the needs of client organizations. We also offer HR consultancy and organizational analysis. 

Gear Up has tapped on three main trainers and a logistics group to deliver these powerful programs:




ERWIN CUDIS


Erwin, a Certified Hotel Trainer® by the American Hotel and Lodging Association, has over 10 years of experience in the field of Human Resources mostly spent handling leadership positions where his most recent stint was heading and directing the training group of a hotel chain. His core talent in training and development is evidently seen in the way he conducts training programs such as customer service, 5S, and work-life balance.


Owing to his leadership experience while he was in school and from work, he is able to deliver supervisory and leadership programs with depth. He shares his own leadership competencies through the conduct of modules on supervision and management, performance improvement, problem solving and decision making, leading with emotional intelligence, and management teambuilding.  His competence in these programs is backed up by years of experience as an HR Manager and Group Training & Development Manager.


Erwin graduated Magna Cum Laude in BS Psychology from the University of San Carlos. He also obtained his Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the same university. Currently, he teaches psychology, Human Resources, HBO, training and development, group dynamics and organizational development classes in USC for both college and masteral students. He is also currently taking up a dual scholarship program scholarship in De La Salle University and the University of Newcastle.


He has recently finished a consultancy project with Mandarin Plaza Hotel which involved setting up the HR and training systems during the pre-opening phase. Erwin has also co-facilitated international camps in Norway and Spain as well as a leadership training in Hong Kong.

On a personal note, this passionate trainer and teacher loves to hang out with family and friends, reads leadership and inspirational books, is currently learning photography and blogging, likes the outdoor, and enjoys life.

The participants from our partner clients consistently describe him as a trainer who combines wits, depth, practicality, and humor in the way he conducts his trainings.





ROSALIE FLORES


Rose is a Behavioral Trainer and Team Program Specialist for over 8 years now. She has mastered her craft under the trainings from Hilton University, ITD Consulting, Guthrie and Jensen, and AIM Global. She is an active figure in the Trainers Guild of Cebu and has always been passionate in motivating and changing people’s lives through her training.  Her proven track record of over eight years experience in human resources management includes holding key positions in the hotel, automotive, manpower, and semi-conductor industries. 

She has conducted several trainings in her field of expertise: team motivation and management or teambuilding, customer service, sales & marketing, personality development, and leadership camps. Currently, Rose is the Corporate Trainer in one of Cebu’s top companies and is the Training Consultant for HRPC Cebu which deploys hotel workers abroad. Right now, Rose is pursuing her thesis for her MA in Industrial Psychology at the University of San Carlos. She acquired her AB Psychology degree from St. Theresa’s College.


On a more personal level, Rose is into theater, events coordinating, and is a doting mother of three and a loving wife.




ZHIEDCO.


ZHIEDCO is the logistics arm of GEAR Up. They handle logistics, technical direction, manning of activities, and ensures the safety of the participants.


We also have linkages with other trainers whom we can partner with based on the needed programs of our client organizations.




ALMA BAUTISTA


Alma has a myriad exposure for more than fifteen years and has held high posts in Human Resources from various industries: IT, Academe, Retail, and Manufacturing. Now, this general manager of a newly-opened diagnostic center incessantly opts for challenges as she now enters her paramount ambition. She underwent a major career shift  but is invariably ready to take on a new set of challenges to achieve business results and sees this shift as an opportunity to multiply her talents and skills exponentially to its limits.

Alma obtained her masteral studies at USC major in Industrial and Organizational Psychology while she acquired her AB Psychology bachelors degree at USJR.
